Mareli Maree Mcinerney a 63 year old Irish Actor.

"For me it's not about fame, fortune or recognition  it's about doing what I love  engaging with audiences and helping bring stories to life so others can enjoy or feel that they can identify with the many characters I portray."

Mareli started acting aged 6 and it was only when she reached 24 that her family circumstances forced her to relinquish her passion. She subsequently trained to be an advocate for people with disabilities and also worked with many organisations to enrich the lives of others who needed similar support, which has given her a rich palette from which to draw on in her acting. Having reached age 60 she decided to revisit her passion and to engage in acting professionally. 

At that time she was unsure who would want want a woman of her age but she was lucky to be cast with dialogue in “Geezers" and "Grainne Uaile" both written and directed by Ciaron Davies. 

She works a lot with immersive theatre, improvising and engaging directly with the audience. She is at home on screen and stage.
