Rachel Pennington is a Director, Actor and Writer.
Rachel mainly directs for stage, assistant for Keys for Life that won best play at the Leverhulme festival 2024, which also won the Derek Jacobi award for writing. Rachel has since directed many productions, including one which was her idea and collaboratively wrote and singly directed, an immersive play set in a pub, 'Swansong' which told the story of people who frequented the pub ,using music and verbatim to enhance the production.Rachels first film was First Takes 1 in 200 in which she acted but was heavily involved with behind the scenes. During Summer of 2021, Rachel worked behind the scenes of ITV maternal, as part of experience during her Drama degree. Rachel is very excited to be part of Si O'Corra's 'The Windows'
