Simon has been a screenwriter since 2017 and is currently based in Cornwall.

 

Simon has been a screenwriter since 2017 and his works have won countless film festival awards. He has had five short films produced and recently wrapped on his first feature screenplay, Ward Six, with Burdock Lodge Productions in Switzerland and Germany. which is now in post-production. Four other of his screenplays are in pre-production, one TV series, based on two Dickens novels and three shorts, The Devil Comes Twice (based on a short story by Maupassant), Chaillot and Juana and Felipe. His favoured genres are historical drama and horror with a leaning towards adaptations of 19th century novels. Simon regards himself as a storyteller pure and simple and his works often reflect a social conscience.
